Our Business Manager, Victoria Houseman, will be attending the 7th Manchester Oculoplastic, Lacrimal and Orbital Dissection Course at the Surgical Skills and Simulation Centre, The University of Manchester between 4 – 6th March 2020.
It is a 3-day hands-on Cadaveric Course ideal for surgeons and surgeons-in-training (oculoplastic fellows & senior trainees) with an interest in Oculoplastic surgery. The main areas covered include: Anterior & Posterior Approach to Upper Lid Raising & Lowering, Endoscopic DCR, Septoplasty, Facial Palsy and Moorfields Lateral Wall Decompression / Posteromedial Decompression.
We will be exhibiting our range of high-quality Ophthalmic instruments. On display will be our 100mm Kerrison Rongeur Punch, an instrument ideal for Dacryocystorhinostomy (DCR) procedures, the 90° up-bite provides the correct angle relative to the position of the bone during surgery. Further to this, our 200mm variants will also be present, providing a different approach to DCR practice. Other aspects of the range too will feature, our Double Ended Punctum Dilator will be present at the event, with the ageing population in the UK, it is an instrument helping to meet the growing demand of people over 65. Furthermore, high quality polished ends avoid trauma during entry to the punctum. Also exhibited, our Negus Aspirating Dissector with One Hole provides more controlled suction than the Two Hole variant.
