In June, DTR Medical received a request from the London Deanery – a clinically-led organisation with an international reputation for providing specialty training programmes, to supply a selection of instruments to be used in the ENT Essentials course hosted by Surgical Core Trainee Dr Natalie Watson at St George’s Hospital, London.

We were asked to provide various instruments from our ENT range which included Laryngeal Mirrors, Lack Tongue Depressors and Thudichum Nasal Specula.

The course began with a morning of lectures on key ENT topics, where up to fifty attendees participated in an afternoon of workshops, performing mock ENT examinations on one another, whilst also observing instrument demonstrations in a clinic, ward and theatre setting.

Following the success of the course, Dr Watson contacted DTR Medical to express her gratitude for the help and support received during the training programme going on to say:

“Thank you so much for the equipment for the ENT essentials course…”
