Innovia Medical® is delighted to sponsor and offer local support to our community.

The local sports teams that received sponsorship were Briton Ferry Llansawel AFC Under-12s Academy team for the 2022/2023 season, Wetherby Warriors U11 Rugby Union, and Swansea University Women’s FC.

Part of our mission at Innovia Medical® is to support communities in Swansea and contribute towards encouraging a sense of sportsmanship in our small town.

A statement from the Briton Ferry Llansawel AFC Under-12s Academy team club let us know that our “kindness and opportunity played an essential role in allowing the team to focus on working hard, playing well, and having fun so they could show the happiness and support that the kit sponsorship has provided the team”.  We equally feel that it is beneficial to see those smiling faces and a team that loves their sport.

Innovia Medical® further sponsored the Swansea women’s football team. To see such a strong team united with our kit was amazing, but it was all made even more exciting by seeing them work together to show their skills and success. Charley Haynes, a member of the team, states: “Having a team training kit sponsorship played a large part in pushing on to the next level on and off the pitch. The kit gave us more of a professional feel, and gave us one identity in training as well as matches. This had a big impact on the players confidence and togetherness. Thank you to DTR Medical for our sponsored kit and supporting your local community.”

The Wetherby Warriors U11 Rugby Union team was another we were proud to play a part in sponsoring.

This team was a joy to see play. They all have a great future ahead of them. Along with all the other teams we worked closely with, we wish them all luck and success. Contributing to three unique groups of young and athletic players will create an everlasting impact on helping our local community.
