DTR Medical were proud to support the training of prospective Operating Department Practitioners with a donation of theatre instruments for use in a Theatre Simulation day at the Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge.

Receiving a request for help from the University, DTR Medical were pleased to donate a variety of single-use surgical instruments from their range. These were used in a Theatre Simulation day that offered Student Operating Department Practitioners the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in a Theatre setting, as well as a familiarisation of typical surgical instruments used.

Regional Business Manager Mark Furness was able to personally deliver the donated instruments to Karen, course tutor at the University, who expressed her appreciation for the help and support received.

In recognition of the importance placed on the development and training of tomorrow’s clinicians and medical practitioners, DTR Medical are proud to have the opportunity to support such initiatives.
