The afternoon session saw the Student Research Symposium take place. Steven Backhouse, ENT Consultant & RCSEd Director (ANG) thanked us for our continued support of both RCSEd’s national events, stating: “DTR’s sponsorship and support for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh’s Symposia in Wales is solid, reliable and very much appreciated. Furthermore, their DTR Medical Innovation & Design Trophy adds value for the delegates and offers an appreciation of the benefits of research beyond simply the academic”.
