We will once again be taking part in Wear It Pink this year. This is one of the biggest fundraising events in the UK and takes place during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Since 2002, Breast Cancer Now has raised a total of £31.5 million for life-saving research; this is working to discover how to prevent breast cancer, detect it earlier and treat it effectively at every stage in order to stop the disease from taking lives.
As part of the event the DTR Medical team will be wearing Pink to work on the 18th October, with various activities taking part over the day. A Pink Cake Sale, Raffle and other fundraising events will help us add to the total accumulated in aid of Breast Cancer. Last year we raised over £400 for this amazing cause and we are hoping to beat that again this year!
