DTR Medical are the proud winners of the MediWales Innovation Award 2012 in recognition for the use of metal-injection moulding in the jaw of their latest product development – the Rotating Cervical Biopsy Punch. Utilisation of this innovative technique has allowed DTR Medical to create a high quality single-use instrument consistent in design, offering clinical performance and reliability during cervical biopsy procedures.

Hosted by MediWales, the awards ceremony was held at Cardiff’s City Hall and followed the day’s proceedings of presentations, plenary sessions and seminars during the UK HealthTech conference.
