DTR Medical Ltd, award winning manufacturers of Sterile Single-use surgical instruments attended their 13th consecutive Medica Trade Fair this year in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Medica enabled us to showcase a range of our latest Sterile Single-use innovations across our specialities. These included our Watson Cheyne Dissector, a versatile device that can be used for the mobilisation and removal of degenerative tissue, and our Rosen Needle Fine, for more precise procedures. Other new products included the Negus Aspirating Dissector with One Hole, a new variant to our successful range, and our Cervical Rotating Biopsy Punch Featuring New Top Jaw, always ensuring a sharp clean cut whilst reducing cervical trauma and patient discomfort.

Also unveiled at this year’s event were our new ENT/MaxFax, Gynaecology and Dermatology catalogues featuring new products and more detailed information on our existing range to enhance our customers decision making process about which products best suit their needs.

Our activity on Social Media during Medica saw over 340 likes and 17 comments across our platforms on LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook.

We were delighted to make an award to Medical Devices, our Leading Distributor for 2018, recognising the growth of the Export business in Australia. David Armstrong collected the award on behalf of his team. We were also pleased to reward Hospital Services Limited in Ireland and GVBM in Germany, in recognition of their substantial growth in DTR Medical sales throughout the year.

Our Export Manager Ed Casey comments “Medica gives us the opportunity to meet existing Distributors each year as well as seeking out representation in new markets. With over 25 scheduled meetings in advance of the show, the event proved to be the company’s most successful Medica to date.”
